about

These songs were recorded amidst what Exclaim.ca called a “potentially gruelling tour”, 65 shows in three countries over the course of three months. After the better part of 50 shows and 20 000 kms driven, Zachary and his band at the time, Ian Cameron and Chris Sleightholm got the chance to record two songs at a studio nestled in the hills around Kelowna, British Columbia - the semi-traditional tune “Copper Kettle” which they learnt from a Bob Dylan bootleg recording and Dublin Blues which was written by the living legend Guy Clark.

"Zachary Lucky sings Copper Kettle and Dublin Blues" is available on vinyl only, and limited to 300 copies.

Zachary Lucky Saskatchewan

Hailed as a master storyteller by No Depression, Zachary is becoming a legend in his own right and has safely reserved his spot at the table of Canadian roots royalty. ... more
